The Habitudes Experience

This five-sensory, portable conference is held on a school campus or other onsite location. It is a one-day experience involving instruction, using images, videos, music, interviews, interaction in process groups, dramatic sketches, games, and a private debriefing time. Students experience an unforgettable day which leaves them believing they can be effective leaders and passionate about wanting to fulfill a leadership role. Students interact with each other over relevant leadership issues they can apply immediately. Students digest truths communicated in a variety of mediums: images on a screen, interviews with excellent leaders, dramatic sketches, video case studies, music, games, and lots of interaction.

The Life You Were Meant To Live

This is a thought provoking, half-day or full-day event for students that takes one of our favorite Habitudes – Life Sentence, and dives deeper to help get students thinking about their purpose in life. The number one question that we have found students asking is: what is my purpose on earth? This event lays out a plan to connect their career to a meaningful life; it provides key questions to create a life-map for students.

Aftershock: Responding to the Cultural Shifts of Gen. iY

This is an insightful one hour, half-day or full-day conference addressing the latest trends from Generation iY, (the latest batch of Generation Y) and how their style will impact the school campus as well as corporate America. It is no longer accurate to refer to the Generation Y as one collective generation. The Millennials born after 1990 are a whole new batch of students. They are being called “Generation iY” because their life is dominated by the iPhone, the iPod, iTunes, etc. They’ve been identified as the Digital Generation, Mosaics, Techies, Millennials and Screenagers. They are the talk of Human Resource professionals and newspaper journalists, they are the prize of their parents, and they are the market share every retailer covets.

lifeGIVING Mentors

This is an invigorating one hour, half-day or full day conference on the art of mentoring relationships. This event will both inspire and equip potential mentors to be effective.

The conference covers topics such as:
• How to select a mentor or mentee
• How to launch a healthy, productive mentoring relationship
• How to establish mentoring structures in an organization

Growing Leaders is a non-profit organization which serves public schools, state universities and civic organizations, as well as faith-based organizations and churches. Our mission is to develop young leaders who will transform society. Our goal is to equip and mobilize one percent of the world’s population under the age of 25 (30 million students) to think and act like authentic, life-giving leaders. We will do this by helping them discover their purpose, equipping them for leadership and showing them how to use their gifts to serve the world around them. We are about youth leadership development.
