Tracy is passionate about equipping next generation leaders.
Before receiving his undergraduate degree in music education, Tracy Reynolds began his career in the music business as a performer, songwriter, arranger and instructor. During his time in college, however, Tracy began to see the need to train students to be leaders. This has become his life focus.
Over his career, Tracy has worked with students in both schools and churches. He has served as a youth pastor at three churches, over the course of eighteen years. He left the pastorate in 1998, to move near his father who was struggling with terminal brain cancer. While there, he took a position teaching music at a middle school, as well as a pastoral position, part time, at a church nearby.
While living near Athens, Georgia, Tracy was asked to teach as a professor and campus pastor at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. During the first few years on campus, Tracy developed ELI, the Emmanuel Leadership Initiative. ELI gave students an intentional, co-curricular plan to develop as an emerging leader, offering both classroom and experiential opportunities to prepare for leadership in their careers.
As an instructor on the Emmanuel College campus, Tracy has taught hundreds of students in leadership. His commitment to this goal opened the door for him to become the Dean of the School of Christian Ministries in 2005, a position in which he continues to serve today.
Tracy has also traveled to several countries teaching leadership in the Philippines, Brazil, the Ukraine, and on school campuses in the U.S. and internationally as well. He has served as an Associate Trainer for EQUIP, the international non-profit organization founded by Dr. John C. Maxwell as well as serving as a leadership coach for Growing Leaders. In addition to serving as dean at Emmanuel College, Tracy presently serves as the Leadership and Assimilation Pastor at Grace Fellowship in Athens, Georgia.
The bulls eye on his target is faith-based schools and churches who hope to prepare young leaders for Christian mission and ministry.
Tracy is married, and has two children, and lives in North Georgia.
