Brenda Coomer is an inspirational person and dynamic speaker with a sincere desire to strengthen individuals. Her message goes beyond inspiring passion and purpose, to the practical application of influencing everyday life. Her style is fun, energetic and impacting. Brenda’s mission is to mobilize leaders by helping them identify their individual abilities and gifts and use those to intentionally influence the world around them. To hear Brenda speak is to experience the very real and urgent desire to live a powerful life.
Brenda brings a wealth of experience to the Growing Leaders team. From an early age she has served in key leadership positions. She was the Women’s Chaplain at a major University for 10 years, helping to train and develop thousands of young adults. As a Consultant, she established a foundation for developing mentors & leaders in ongoing women’s programs. As a Life Coach, her emphasis is on encouraging people through life transitions. Brenda has been a frequent guest and co-host on television & has also been published in a variety of magazines, both dedicated to the empowerment and encouragement of women. Her corporate experience includes serving as the Vice President of Sales for a publicly traded company, and responsibility for corporate training, planning, marketing and coordinating events. She contributes her experience to several organizations and is currently serving as a program development consultant for a Tulsa, OK church.
Brenda has founded and operates a ministry in which she speaks at conferences and events across the United States conveying a message of renewed joy, hope and freedom. Her enthusiasm, and her direct and honest approach, brings an internal motivation that she believes will mobilize others to reach for their best in life.
Brenda holds degrees in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications and Pastoral Care and Counseling. Brenda resides with her family in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she considers her most rewarding contribution in life to be the growth and development of her own three emerging leaders.
