GENERAL DESCRIPTIONS
We offer internships and apprenticeships at our main office in Atlanta, Georgia. They are both ideal for college students, or recent college graduates, who want to gain a rich experience working at a leadership development organization. Within this role, you'll be helping students realize their full leadership potential all around the world. As well, you will have the opportunity to help develop resources, interact with college staff, plan events, and administer partnerships with schools, churches and organizations. Check them out below:Summer/Semester Internships
Our standard intern positions are during the summer or semester. In the past, interns have come from all over the world and stay with one of our host families during their time as an intern. This is a full-time position in our Atlanta office. There are also opportunities for part-time internships for students living in the Metro Atlanta area who are also working in another position. We require that all interns have their own transportation.
WHO: College students or young adults in their twenties
WHERE: Growing Leaders office in the metro Atlanta area
WHEN: Late May to Mid-August (Summer Term) and Mid-August to Mid-December (Fall Term)
COST: An expense stipend is given to each intern during their time with us. This money will usually cover basic personal spending during their time here in Atlanta. The host families provide room accomodations and food.
One-Year Apprenticeships
One-year apprenticeships provide a similar experience as the short-term internships and then some. These apprenticeships afford the opportunity to gain more expanded work experience in specialized areas, additional work with event planning, traveling with our coaches to various campuses, as well as working and learning at some of the conferences and conventions we participate in each year.
These apprenticeships can possibly be used as class credit on many campuses and also include personal growth and leadership mentoring from the Growing Leaders staff. We require apprentices to have their own transportation, and we will work with you to arrange housing during your time with us.
