Sponsorship Opportunities

Get Involved

Because Growing Leaders is a non-profit organization, our donors play a key role in fulfilling the mission. Through generous contributions, we are able to offer youth leadership programs and resources to many schools and organizations who can't afford them, both in the U.S. and in developing nations around the world. We are always seeking volunteers and donors who believe in young people, and want to be a part of training them to be effective leaders who will transform society.

Growing Leaders is pleased to announce three unique sponsorship opportunities that allows businesses and individuals to provide leadership training for students.

1.  Underwrite a Habitudes Program in a school

2.  Provide the Athletic Habitudes Program for a high school

3.  Give a gift to provide training for an emerging leader

Please review information below.  We are entirely grateful for our donors and recognize that Growing Leaders would not be possible without you

Habitudes® School Curriculum

Habitudes®: Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes is a comprehensive curriculum program written by Dr. Tim Elmore, President of Growing Leaders.  It teaches fundamental character-based leadership principles through the power of an image.

Most students today are visual learners.  They like to see a picture, not just hear words.  In fact, images are the language of the 21st century, not words.  Habitudes uses powerful pictures to teach leadership truths and character principles in a way that is engaging and memorable.  As a result, students remember the content, and are inspired and equipped to build their character and use their influence to lead others well.

Growing Leaders offers the Habitudes material in two formats for schools and youth civic organizations:

  • Books:  Students receive a book and faculty members utilize the Teacher’s Guide and DVD Teaching Kit to facilitate discussion in the classroom or small group setting.
  • Digital Downloads:  The first book of the Habitudes series is available in a digital curriculum package called ready. lead. Go!.  It includes a variety of training resources for students, teachers and parents.

The cost to underwrite a Habitudes program is $2,500 - $5,000 depending on the number of students in the school or youth organization.

Habitudes® for Athletes

This innovative program is specifically designed for students and coaching staff.  The curriculum is based on the series of books entitled Habitudes: Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes, written by Dr. Tim Elmore.

This athletic Habitudes curriculum uses powerful images to teach important character principles in a way that is engaging and memorable.  As a result, student-athletes are equipped and empowered to develop healthy character-based leadership skills that will positively impact their lives both on and off the playing field.

The major themes discussed are character development, self-discipline, personal values, responsibility, initiative, self-esteem, time management, and conflict resolution.

Designed as an easy-to-use program, students watch a short video session that includes an interview with a well-known college or professional athlete, and then are led through a small group discussion.

  • Increased focus on and off the field
  • Improved teamwork and cooperation
  • Better decisions on and off the field

  • Deepened character and integrity
  • Strengthened relationships
  • Enhanced performance

The cost to underwrite a Habitudes for Athletes program for up to 100 athletes in a school or youth organization is $1,000.

Growing Leaders is a non-profit organization which serves public schools, state universities, and civic organizations, as well as faith-based organizations and churches. Our mission is to develop young leaders who will transform society. Our goal is to equip and mobilize one percent of the world’s population under the age of 25 (30 million students) to think and act like authentic, life-giving leaders. We will do this by helping them discover their purpose, equipping them for leadership and showing them how to use their gifts to serve the world around them. We are about youth leadership development.
