Greg McMichael
| Greg was raised in Knoxville Tennessee, where he received a full scholarship to play for the University of Tennessee. In 1988 he was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. After playing 5 seasons in the minor leagues, Greg was called up to the big league for the Atlanta Braves in 1993. He spent 8 seasons in the major leagues with Braves, Mets, Dodgers, and A's. He has played in 2 World Series and was runner up rookie of the year to Mike Piazza in 1993 and held the record for most consecutive saves by a rookie until 2005. |
